Death, Dying and Bereavement
There are many important issues to consider when dealing with death in social care, the emotional aspects of coping with terminal illness and the death of individuals receiving support. This course helps to prepare you for dealing with the emotional and practical issues surrounding death, dying and bereavement.
DISCLAIMER: This course will look at death, the process of dying and theories of grief in detail. These subjects may trigger emotions and feelings for some learners. If you are affected by anything whilst completing this course, please inform your manager.
Start the course by clicking Course Content. You will then need to work your way through the course by completing all interactive exercises, watching short video animations and answering the questions within chapters correctly.
You can stop the course at any time and continue later where you left off.
Once you have completed all available chapters, close the popup window and navigate back to the course page where you will be able to take the assessment quiz. You have 3 attempts to achieve a passing grade of 80% or higher. When you pass the quiz, please complete our feedback form to complete the course.
If you fail all 3 attempts, you will be locked out of the quiz and unable to complete the course. Contact your manager to discuss resetting your progress.
